Available on selected cars, Carplay is a smarter, safer way to use your iPhone in cars.CarPlay helps iPhone users to interact with this device such as making calls, searching map information, in cars while keeping focused on driving. In other words, Carplay helps you minimize the focus on the phone screen when driving which is very dangerous for your life and others. This technology was first launched by Apple on iOS 7.1. The minimum hardware to operate is an iPhone 5 or more.
This article will guide you how to connect carplay in cars. First, turn on Siri (if not) by going to Settings -> General -> Siri.
– Establish
* Make sure your car supports Apple CarPlay.
* Connect iPhone to cars via USB cable, you can find USB statues with phone icon or Apple Carplay on the car and plug into it. If the Apple CarPlay screen does not activate itself, find the Apple CarPlay icon on the car’s touch screen and open it.
* If your vehicle supports wireless CarPlay connectivity, press and hold the Voice Control button on the steering wheel. If the car has not been connected to the iPhone, go to Settings> General> Carplay> Available Cars and choose your car from here. Now you can activate Siri and use Carplay right from Voice Control on the steering wheel
Once connected, it is possible to interact with the phone via Siri by pressing the Voice Control button or interacting via the car’s DVD touch screen.
