Dear Customers,
We would like to respectfully announce the adjustment of the 360 camera intermediate wire installed on Mitsubishi Outlander vehicles from December 9, 2024, specifically as follows:
– Phenomenon: The 360 camera receives the ACC signal from the vehicle through the intermediate wire, connected between pin 7 of the vehicle’s C-418 and the wire of the rear accessory power socket. During the use of the device at the rear accessory power socket, the 360 camera intermediate wire is at risk of overheating in the problem of the Customer using an external load exceeding the designed capacity at the rear accessory power socket.
– Cause: In the case that the device used at the rear accessory power socket is not controlled or does not comply with the technical standards according to the Mitsubishi vehicle’s user manual (total capacity greater than 120W, 12V voltage for a long time), it may lead to an overload situation. This will cause the intermediate wire of the 360 camera to overheat.
– Solution: Switch the signal wire for the 360 camera from pin 7 (connected in series) to pin 2 (connected in parallel) of the C-418 jack, completely removing the intermediate wire that connects the 360 camera directly to the rear accessory power outlet.
This is a precautionary measure to help improve safety, avoiding power problems when using accessory devices connected to the vehicle.
Replacement time and location:
Location: At authorized Mitsubishi Distributors nationwide
Time for calibration: 0.5 hours (about 30 minutes)
Cost: Replacement of the intermediate wire is completely free.
